the oval bends definitely seem like a much better idea, my exhaust touches the ground when pulling out of steep driveways but other than that it really doesnt scrape much.

this is also 2.5 inch on my m20 turbo. its loud but inside the car its not bad at all. idle isn't too loud either, just when you really get on it, and thats what i want anyway.

though I am looking at options to build a full exhaust with a muffler. just trying to get sound clips of with a small resonator, or not, etc

EDIT: in my search for ^exhaust clips for turbos, i ended up bumping a 3 year old thread. my bad

This is genius. Can you have that on a turbo for when you want it to spool super quick, and close it when you want it to be quiet?

    Pics do not work.

I have a floor pan that I patched, but am going to redo. Then I got the brilliant idea to encorporate a possible side exit while I am already welding there.. We will see how it works. I am a bodywork beginner so it wont be anything like that above but should atleast be functionable.

Here is my side exit but i have no factory fuel tank. I have a 40L foam filled fuel cell in the spare wheel well.

My favorite setup is right through the hood like Carlos' race car (wouldn't recommend for street haha) -

Pretty sure it's going to be loud regardless lol.
Why not do a rear side exit, that way you can at least add a muffler?

I was thinking right before the pass rear wheel. That way if it is super loud at least it won't be on my side.

I'm for once praying I have rust in that area to give me the excuse to cut it out and fab up this side exit. I just think it would look better then an "assless" back end with a 3 inch tip and muffler just hanging there.
