Nah nah nah. He just didn't put enough boost into it.

Do like 30psi on stock internals. Just get some arp studs and an MLS and you'll be fine. Report back your findings
    Lol Yoshi. ;)

positive. If you want to make over 500 you have to run something that is going to have more octane then 93. You also have to take a proactive approach to preventing detonation because If you don't know what to listen for you won't even hear it. I could only hear detonation alittle on my 2.7t m20 when the waste was open so I parked it till I could get it properly tuned.

Yeah I was thinking the 6758 but it's not offered with a t3 inlet :(. I was going to go with one of otis's mani's. Unless someone gets a t4 ts manifold made.

7076. It should spool fine on a 3.2 liter. You'd prob want to down size 1 for a 2.5 liter.

Which model did you get again? I'll be doing a turbo for my winter build and I want to try one of these bad boys out.

Still on backorder. They had a problem with the compressor casting. Sooo still don't have it :( It's ok. I need to save up and order the eagle rods and finish building the bottom end.

for 500 you need a pretty big turbo which means some lag
to get 500 out of a stock m50 you need alot of boost and race gas, e85, etc.
If you boost on just 93 you will get detonation before you get the 500 you want
    you sure about that?

500hp is just a number. Quarter mile times or some other usable goal is more likely to provide proper results.

pick up maximum boost by corky bell. Read it about 5 times through or until you understand it. Then read it 5 more times. Then come back.
Ditto on the corky bell book. If you want to understand how to properly design and build a turbo setup you've got to have his book.

If you don't want lag, you need to start looking up compressor maps and doing the math behind the boost. If you find a map that suits what you need, then go for that turbo. Like its been said, 500hp is just a number. Read this as well...about a million times. http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...o_tech101.html
Start in the 101 and work your way to 103. This is mostly the math part. And Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. All the info you need is out there. You just gotta look harder.
