Inefficient..lol... sorry your wrong. Have you seen the torque line of a twincharged car thats properly setup? have you seen the power of the lancia delta S4? Just so you know I was a moderator and writer for Cobaltss.net and I know all about the cobalt ss I tuned them and ZZP was my sponsor I was one of the first to own one in Ontario in 2005. My temps with my setup are 8-10 degree over ambient temp right now at 17 PSI total cars power is unreal to anything I drove before and I drove 11's Eagle talon TSI AWD.
ZZP no longer makes the kit as it cost too much money to build and it was complicated to maintain client service level support. Twincharging is not for everybody and is complicated but the reward is not only unique but u take the best of both worlds and have a powerful street car that doesnt need to spool to 4000RPM to make any kind of power.
Eaton SC M20 HP/TQ RESULTS and decision?!?

Twin charging is way too inefficient. Trust me I used to drive a 06 cobalt ss and was heavily involved in the forums and modifying my own. A lot of guys over there started off twin charging ZZPerformance made a kit for it. The M62 is known as a heaton blower and so unless you are running a water cooled turbo and a water to air heat exchanger your iats are going to be hard to control. ZZP no longer offers the twin charge kit because they have found it more efficient to run a single turbo and remove the supercharger completely. I think as far as uniqueness goes twincharge wins but efficiency wise single turbo is the way to go.Leave a comment:

All your answers can be found right here: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=266053I'm considering a very similar setup with an M90 from a Pontiac 3.8 and a GT42. Just as far as the set up is concerned, does it go turbo->intercooler->BOV->throttle->SC->recirc.? I'm having trouble understanding the order... And you'd have to convert to an MS system and not use an AFM or a MAF, correct?
The M90 from the pontiac wont fit its too big.... the m90 from the thunderbird will fit. MS all the way!! yesLeave a comment:

The war chip is very useful, but not perfect. The big issue is that you don't actually get full access to all tables. It's kind of a downer, although understandable.Leave a comment:

the War chip served me very well for my 12 PSI setup... but I will absolutly need the more avdanced and precise features of MS to go beyond this setup I have now.
Plus I love the fact you can datalog with MS :) cant wait to get my new setup in place.Leave a comment:

My WARCHIP and MAF are sold.
I unlisted the services of WHODWHO to help me setup my new DIYPNP box :)
If everything is good then I should be able to start my TWINCHARGE project this winter.Leave a comment:

Actually I would not mind a turbo that spools 4-5K as I already have serious torque from 1500-4800rpm at 12 PSI of SC boost. I think I HX40-HX45 would probably be more bang for the buck?
Yes at the track am going to buy some slicks (I can get a pair for 50$ at the race track slightly used....just dont know what size and rim size I need)?
Its looking more and more like this... but I need to sell my Miller stuff before and get MS2 and get familiar with it..
the Miller stuff is good until 30# injectors are maxed out around 12 PSI on a B25....but now I really need a more advanced EFI tuning hence MS2..Leave a comment:

Twin charge and a pair of soft compound r-comps will take care of wheel spin. Stock tires are no match for my setup either.... R-comps on the other hand grip like crazy and instead of wheel spin she sits down.
