Can you run a 524TD as a twin scroll?

I am looking to turbo my car (91 325i) and stumbled on people using the 524TD manifolds with adapters. The manifold looks like it would work as twin scroll, but how would you put a wastegate on it without disrupting the twin scroll aspect of it? Is an internally wastegated turbo the only option? I was thinking about maybe like a spacer but i can't find one that is divided at the wastegate. Also could something be done with the EGR port?

Any ideas or experience would be appreciated!
