Have a 85 318i and very recently changed
sparks, dist, fuel lines, fuel filter, idle control valve, had the fuel injectors serviced.
the problem only happen when i reach the half tank mark or about to. you feel the sputter, hesitation and sometimes dies.
car idles fine when start at around 900-1000rpm. one thing I did noitce from PO is that the gas tank has an indent. looked like soemone jacked too far in an caught the tank. Im debating if i should replace the tank.
also did some search that it can be possible that the fuel line connecting the other half of the tank can be blocked one way or another.
any ideas will be greatly appreciated. thanks
