Early e30's have the volume pump in-tank then the pressure pump just outside of the tank. Has anyone replaced the in-tank with a 'normal' pump and eliminated the external pressure pump?? I've seen someguys replace the in-tank on the single pump systems with a Walbro 255, overkill in my opinion, this pump would overrun the FPR in my DSM. Usually the more desirable pump would've been the Denso 150lph, though they were rare. But anyway, anyone done it?? My internal pump's oneway valve is tired, as is the pump, so I really only want to go in there once. Doing 2.7i soon so I want to get this sorted beforehand.
