hey, i'm starting to strip a 1991 318is for its' shell soon, and i needed to know what i should not bother swapping over. The running train from the eta is going in and the tranny, rad.,etc., can i swap over the interior aswell? the shape in general of the car didnt change much in the face lift process, so i wanted advice on what to keep and what to destroy in a epic fire of 4 cylinder love. The m42 i think i will shelf for the time being as its' other parts.. But as a general rule, the interior should go in no prob. and so will the engine harness, but what about this c101? do i need to concern myself about the body harness not mating to it>?
any wiring diagrams or posts concerning this, or any other resto. would be greatly appreciated. I would like to start collecting the goods to make a force induction 2.7 with a 2.5 head, so if anyone knows what i should buy apart from a complete 325is, send it in. I know I need a 2.5. head to rebuild, but should i look for pistons from another bmw engine for it, and crank wise people keep mentioning e36..
