So, I'm rebuilding the top-end of my eta since I blew my intake manifold gasket. While I'm at it I'm going to try and make a franken-eta using some parts I have laying around. Any comments or concerns would be extremely helpfull.
Heres my list o' parts:
m20b23 (323i) head. Its an early -200 casting b23 using 34/40mm exhaust/intake valves.
m20b25 valve springs (double)
m20b23 (264 degree) or m20b25 (256 degree) cam (I'm really up in the air about this, I have both sitting on my bench)
m20b27 injectors, intake, bottom-end, and other peripherals
I also plan on using the -027 DME with the possability of either a Mark-D chip or maybe one of Ireland's new programable WAR-chips.
I'm not trying to win any speed-records with the motor. Everyday drivabilty and fun-when-I-need-it are my primary concerns. Anyway, if the m20 gurus on here could give me any pointers, again, they would be extremely helpful.
