I installed a Dinan chip in my '90 325i automatic and now it needs two starts to turn on but only if it's been sitting overnight or longer. When I start it the first time it will start right up but the idle is very rough and the rpm drops until it dies. Typically all of my warning lights below the speedo stay on as well. Once it dies or I shut it off I start it again and it starts right up, idles fine, and is totally good to go with no problems. Has been doing this for weeks so it's not a one-time thing.
