Does the engine have spark when cranking? The DME won't provide spark if it isn't seeing timing data from the engine. -
Well I swapped those back and forth a few times to no avail. Anyone else have any ideas?Leave a comment:

Make sure that the CPS and Cylinder ID connectors haven't been swapped. If they have the DME won't see timing data from the engine when it is cranking and won't run the pump.Leave a comment:

Fuel pumps won't start
I've got an 86 325e with an m20b25 in it. The car has the dual fuel pump setup. I've replaced both fuel pumps the wiring harness for the engine and the ECU and the fuel pumps still won't start.
This all started after doing a head job. Whats going on?Tags: None
