Yeah, I pulled all the injectors out they are complete garbage, was a total pain in the ass.

I can order M50 injectors for 25 a piece, are they direct bolt in or not? and is there any M50 injector that WON"T work , as well as what would be the best one to buy given that I'm mostly stock and plan to stay that way, maybe change my chip to a stage 2

Now cylinder 2 and 3 are dead fuel wise, and what I found weird was some oil on the spark plug in cylinder 2, but I figured its an old engine and probably burns a little oil and since i've been driving it around alot with the misfire the last couple days it was bound to get wetted up with oil.

I HOPE its not a connection,im willing to buy a set of injectors now because they look like they are in such rough shape, but I'm not 100% this will fix the problem.

I'm looking at injectors that would fit a 325is E36, would they work?

an oil fouled plug will cause a misfire. switch the plug and see if it goes. if a ring leaks really bad it will oil foul a pluf regularly but there are spark shield things to buy that will help.

so you plug, is oil fouled but you think its not getting fuel. well you have to switch things around to diagnose this. For me id replace the two plugs first.

the m50 injectors are the exact same thing but they are green.

yes they will fit 17 lb injectors. well like i said several times now

theyre gonna say on them that they are compatible with every bmw. but you want the 17 lb ones for a m50 e34 or e36 . BUT NOT AN E34 m30 those are the taller ones.

switch the injectors right now, and put it back in.

this will diagnose the problem if it moves witht he injector or not.

Theres nothing to buy until you do that.

I guess if you want to upgrade anyway

and you put the new ones in

and 2 and 3 stll arent working then its electrical.

theres a good chance you clogged them though dont get me wrong. One bad fill up can do it

yah I hear you, turned out the real problem was no compression on 2 and 3 :( well not enough to combust

so that was that ! switched everything around too many times should of did compression test first !

ya show us the leakdown test. did the car overheat?

well no man, you switched stuff around to try and diagnose it without buying parts lol.

definitely dont blame to people here.

theres a pretty well established trouble shooting flow chart that covers, spark and fuel.

So you came back to the people here saying theres spark but not fuel didnt you? but you must have been wrong.

if theres spark and fuel but the cylinder is dead, everyone here would say check the compression.

next diagnose it it seems crazy to throw away an engine. you still dont know whats wrong with it or what its going to take to fix it.

And before you walk of that cliff i GUARANTEE that way more cars go up for sale as incomplete m50 projects they just couldnt figure out and sat rusting for a year than go for sale e30 with m50.
I dont think thats a wise move in the least dollar wise I think youd save tons of money junking your car or selling the parts and buying an m50 e30 already for sale.

i was saying that I checked all spark and everything was good, and that I bet it was do to no fuel but after switching around injectors and testing the power to the injectors and realizing everything checked out , I did a compression test

everything was around 160 or so I can't remember exactly what, the on cylinder I had no combustion in had 30psi !! and the second cylinder that o newly had no compression in was 45psi!!

I've done motor swaps before and got a few talented people helping me out, got a nice motor already and most of my parts gathered and I got a really big commercial garage to do the swap in, I'll be okay
