Hey guys im Looking into cam shafts, & really looks like its coming down to a Schrick 288 Cam Or a CAT 285 cam.
build is gonna be a 2.7i build with Euro pistons. "10:1 CR" , head will be fully worked Cam,springs, retainers, rocker arms, P&P , valve job all that good stuff.
Car will be used as a daily/Auto-X car.
I like the CAT cam cause its reasonably cheaper & from the specs that i find the lift on a CAT cam is 11.5 & the schrick cam is 11.4.
Really i just wanna know if anyone has any experience with these "CAT" cams, i don't wanna blow money on them then not getting good results.
And does anyone have any estimate about how much power a 10:1 CR 2.7 will make? Was hoping for about 200whp.
