    Fuel problem solved!

I have been fighting an intermittent problems. Runs good, sputters, lacks power, engine dying and more.

These problems started after installing a turbo and Megasquirt in my
    1986 325es.

We put a fuel pressure gauge on the engine and got erratic numbers. 40 psi, 20, 25.....???

We had installed a new Walbro external pump so we pulled the tank fuel pump. There it was, the rubber hose connection between the upper metal tube and the electric pump was all broken up.

The car runs like a top now :D

I thought some on this forum might want to know this. As with most solutions, I look back and wonder why I did not figure it out sooner.
