So, I have a Turbocharged M20 and Ive been having oil leaks for as long as I had my rebuilt engine. All the seals have been replaced and when I pull my dipstick out while the engines running I have fumes coming out.
From what Ive read this normally indicates a poor ring pushing exhaust by, I was just curious before I start ripping apart my engine could a leaky/crap bitch tube/vent tube be the issue or another vacuum issue?
If I pull out the dipstick when the cars running, fumes come out. If I also open the oil cap the fumes stop out from the dipstick. I dont know if means much, when it comes to vacuum I haven't learned all too much. I pull vacuum off the turbo intake side to a catch can then run it up to the valve cover.
Im getting oil leaks around the bitch tube and my sandwich plate/oil filter, along with the rocker plugs.
Any insight on brainstorming on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
