Hey guys. I am in the process of swapping an m20 turbo into my e21. I had a lightened m10 flywheel laying around that I figured I will use with the m20, but need to swap the bendix gear on the m20 starter with the m10 gear in order for it to work with the m10 flywheel ring.
I started taking the m20 starter apart and got it this far ...
Can anybody give advice on the next step in order to get the bendix gear (furthest splined gear on the left) off? I seem to be stuck and not sure how to continue. Thanks!!
