So I converted from an L-Jet M20B23 (square C101) to a Motronic 1.3 M20B25 (round C101). Immediately noticed that the Active Check Panel light in the meter cluster doesn't blink like it's supposed to.
In Accessory position, it's constantly lit, while in Start position it is gone. Anyone has any ideas that might help? Normally it's supposed to stay on until all faults are addressed.
Scoured through the electronic troubleshooting manual but couldn't find anything. However I observed that the check engine light and the active check panel light are two separate entities for the motronic system. On some clusters, the check engine light is in the middle, while on others, the check engline light is by the side with no bulb attached. Could anyone offer some insight please?
