    325e engine management upgrade question

I am looking to upgrade my 325e's engine management from Motronic 1.0 to Motronic 1.3 while retaining the 325e intake manifold (or swapping over to the Super Eta manifold), 325e cylinder head, and 325e single-pipe exhaust setup to maintain torque around the 2000-3500 RPM region while eliminating the cold start valve, simplifying the idle vacuum hose system, going from 2 crank sensors to 1, and cleaning up the engine bay a bit. Is this possible? Anyone ever attempt this setup?

Will the engine not run correctly because the fuel and ignition maps for Motronic 1.0 and 1.3 are radically different? Would I be able to use a Super Eta chip with the Motronic 1.3 ECU? From all the research that I've done and the Super Eta engine and its Motronic 1.1 management is a sort of in-between the regular 325e and the 325i and so will have fuel and ignition maps tuned somewhere between the other two.
