I just finished my 3.5 Alpina swap and ran into a problem.
The engine sputters at 3200rpm when it's at normal engine temperature. When not completely at operating temperature it goes to 4000/4200rpm, I don't want to go higher because the engine is completely rebuild.
Before the B10 engine I had installed a B30, reused the loom, sensors etc. The B30 ran without a problem.
Leads, sparkplugs, rotor and cap are all as good as new, 2000km old.
Earth cable is attached, injectors are cleaned and tested.
Switched the coil.
Only thing I can come up with is the temp sensor, although it worked fine.
Any other thoughts on this?
