So I was replacing my cv boots and to save money I used the inner boot kits on the outer joints also (pelican parts indicated that a different clamp was needed to do this). The clamps dont fit. They are too small. The regular clamps are only available as part of an outer joint kit. Damn. I need to get this back together. Can I use regular hose clamps? Zip ties (hmm maybe melt)?
