how to tell if i need to start planning on a new clutch?

hey guys, this is my first post on these forums. I am also relatively new to owning an E30 aswell. ive had my 87 325 for about a month and love it to death, though it has had some problems getting up to this point but still. i have one piece of just general maintenance left(a tune up since it hasnt had one in almost 2 decades) but thats not why im posting here. there are two big things that i need to plan and replace in the proper order in the future sometime and im trying to figure out which one is first so. so i know about suspension and have had several people look at it so i know where im at with it. what i dont know is the clutch. it is still there as of right now, but it starts grabbing with the pedal right at or just a little beyond half way up, and fully engages at about 3/4 the way up (give or take a few mm) to my knowledge this is the stock original clutch. i also know that the car had 80k miles put on it in the first 4 years of its life and the remaining 140k in the last 20 and im pretty sure that those first 80k were mostly highway. the car has 222k miles on it. how worried about the clutch should i be? i drive about 1-2k miles a month. and im hoping to get another year out of the clutch if not more. i dont usually drive hard but i do like to put some speed to my ride occasionally and i drive mostly in the city(regular city not downtown or extreme stop and go). what are your thoughts?
