Last post has getrag branded varient that does not require ear adapter for the transmission rubber mounts ; it has ears cast in. Find it and note the part number to save yourself the hassle of getting a F body mount adapter
No more need for custom items or shoddy modified stock units; bmw has a part that allows narrow mount clearance of the e30 +6 speed in the transmission tunnel. Compared to old part unit the setback and compact layout is ideal.
I'm sure many of the people making m50/g260 Trans x members could figure out a cheap and strong solution to adapt. The prior issue was that the older back plates were too wide for the tunnel; this item has no such issue.
