I hear these are stiffer and suitable for e30's. However, do they need to be modified in any way? Are the studs the same size as the stock e30 mounts?

I just installed them on my S50 swap with e36 m3 gearbox. They fit fine, but didn't seem very stiff to me. I installed the aluminum cups over the top of them for added stiffness. UUC sells the cups, but I had them made locally for next to nothing. They fit fine with my application on the stock 325/318 trans brace, I kind of assume they would work on a E30 trans too, and they are cheap so it might be worth a try

oh yeah, the studs are larger, I had to drill out the trans brace mounting holes for the trans mount, but they did fit right into the E36 m3 gearbox tabs, they may not fit so well with the e30 gearbox tabs.Comment
