The problem here is that my shifter hits the console every time I go into reverse, even though I rebuilt the whole assembly. My piece has no bend in the bottom as is shown here. Since g260's sit at a different angle than g240's, I believe a P.O. installed a shifter rod from a g260 for some unknown reason.
