So a lot has been written about converting from early style shifter to a later style shifter mechanism on the G260 for an m20.

Which says I can use the later style arm linkage in place of the sheet metal style by buying part #25112225369 from an e30 M3. THIS IS NOT TRUE. it does not bolt up. The M3 Bracket is wider than the mount holes on the trans.
That said, is there anyone who has mocked up a bracket to make the M3 mount work? I have an idea of how to make it work but before I go that route I wanted to ask here.
