    Not all M62's use cable, plenty of them with fly-by-wire around, at least here in Europe...
    M62B44 non TU all use cable.


    328ijunkie is getting his M62B44 ecu reflashed as we speak so I'm going to see how his experience goes.

    M62 and M62TU done many times in E30, no big deal.
    Just make sure you have a friend who can program all the unnecessary things off the ECU or alternatively have all the EWS things from the donor at hand.

    true but you can research other things like the engine itself and what it needs to run not if it is in a e30 or not thats just learning wiring and engine mounts.

    There's nothing to research, there's no documented OBD2 swap, and the only problem I see is finding someone to do an EWS delete.

    dude just research and stop fighting it, with removing all those you just said isnt that just obd i , just think about it smartguy, 2 sensors, no egr, no airpump, no ews, no throttle by wire, no dws abs, might as well add the trigger to crank pulley, obd i manifold and tuned ecu and call it a day, you can learn all this if you research if you dont want to research about the engine your planning to put in then you probaly should just figure this isnt the swap for you
