Supercharging my M60

I would not have swapped from a turbo m20 to an m60. Not a potent enough set-up to switch to IMO.

Not to be argumentative, but you can't really compare the two - apples to oranges IMHO. I think the m60 is just about the *perfect* motor for an e30.

Hope the ports line up, otherwise you'll need to fabricate some short runners, which will likely raise the set-up and cause hood clearance issues.

M62 and the AJ-V8 are very, very similar, but have distinct differences.

Interesting... wondering what hood clearance is gonna be like (also rad clearance). Does the supercharger pulley line up with everything else, or do you have to get a new 'dual belt' crank pulley?

I will soon have all these answers.

The upper intake I ordered came in today. I was a little surprised by the angle of the intake runners, I am hoping when the lower intake comes in that they will be curved to accept the upper section correctly for the m60...

Look proper. The Jag V8 is so similar to M62s it's not even funny.

There is also some kind of turbocharger package for M6x from factory as M6x variants were used in Bentley Arnage (?) in the '90s ;)

Space will, of course, be an issue in E30 body but everything is doable..
