lol that makes more sense
apparently CA tuned makes axles that are beefier than OE ones, but they don't give out power capacities for their axles... so yeah.
driveshaftshop makes axles that they rate to 700hp, though they'll run you $1700. FWIW, i've talked to one guy at the track who broke a DSS axle on his miata which had about 75% of their max power rating, which IMO is one too many breakages for axles that cost damn near two grand
go get yourself some junkyard axles while you still can so you can have cheap & easy disposable replacements. either that or do what another member did and convert to something like a c4 corvette rearLeave a comment:

And I haven't thought about axles yet :/ you guys wanna share some knowledge?Leave a comment:

Gentlemen, those lines are enough to feed a jumbo 747 and I don't have that kind of money or power. Those are water lines. Water to air intercooler. Have a heat exchanger core, and water tank on the back to balance out some weight :)Leave a comment:

lol +1, didn't even notice that the first time around.
i think SOME will allow hardline in the passenger compartment, but only hardline and only if there aren't any junctions (i.e. fittings) in the passenger compartmentLeave a comment:

Maybe I'm crazy but I don't think many sanctioned racing bodies are going to allow you to run your fuel lines through the cabin. SCCA requires a firewall. Not to mention I don't know why you'd want to in the first place, seems sketchy....
Otherwise great work, really nice welds.Leave a comment:

half shafts tends to be a euro definition for what 'muricans call axlesLeave a comment:
