The LS might get hate, but it is probably the most economical swap as far as hp/$$ and reliability/$$ is concerned

every fender is exactly 25mm wider so 2" total.

No boost by gear with this setup, but I don't know how much I need boost when these motor can push 500 wheel no problem.

The unit I have matches wheel speed (front vs back) using OEM wheel speed sensors with the ABS and cuts off fuel to cylinders depending on how much slippage you are experiencing vs how much you want to be.

If you have traction control can you also do boost by gear? Almost don't need boost at all in 1st and have it progressively come in 'till full boost in 4th or something

Fenders are rolled all the way around and I do have evo fenders. I will look there, but the consensus when I was looking seemed to be that 235s were the max. I still have not dug into this car.

I could break the tires on my V with 275s. Apples and oranges though considering this car is 1000 lbs lighter.

If this car popped up locally craiglist would you just let someone else buy it? Would you rip out the LS and put something else in? Like I said, I would have a hard time buying one, even a rolling chassis, and dropping in an LS. But the work was already done and the price was right. Now I am just going to have some fun with it.

My bottleneck right now is the rear tires. I bought the car like you see it. I don't know if I would have the heart to LS swap a perfectly good S14 car, but happy to take over this project.

That said I don't know if i have the heart to put a knife to the rear of the car. If I could fit a 275-295 in the rear it would be getting a turbo all day. For now I am going to see how sticky 235s, 450 whp, and the racelogic traction control treat me.

its your car so you should build it the way you want it. far be it for me or anyone else to tell you how to put together your build.

are you planning 6-700 hp? 4-500 is enough for me. probably enough for the car too.
