I decided to go with the ford engine because i have never seen it done before

props... thats why i wanna run a 6.1 hemi no ones done it (some day).. Well as long as you turbo the 4.6 it makes sense other wise I wouldnt see the point an s52 would be just as good.

here are some pics from today. we tied the crossmember into the rocker panel with a 1/8 inch steel plate.

Well since you're building a drag car, you might as well chop the front fender wells and run Strange struts. You'll have a ton of room for the turbos!

FYI - the Modular Ford motors and the BMW V8s are very similar dimensionally. The bore spacing on the BMWs is 98mm, and the Fords are 100mm.
