steering wheel help

I have a e30 that I recently bought a leather stearing wheel off of e-bay. it did not have the center airbag, but the seller said mine would fit
it looks like it will, however the wire that goes to the airbag is burnt

is there a way to switch that from my old wheel, I cant see how to get it apart
