true. what bothers people is his lack of a sense of humor when people make fun of him, which only makes people make fun of him more.
with that said, i can understand how frustrating it must be for him, trying to contribute to the e30 community with information pretty much no one else has, only to be ridiculed by a bunch of people who only wish they had an e30 as nice as his. he isn't on r3v to goof off like many people are- most if not all of his posts are very serious and on topic and i imagine he wishes to be taken seriously. i think people need to be a little more sensitive to his feelings with regards to this. it's ok to be nice sometimes. it's not like he is going around shitting on everyone else's threads.

This, Andrew is a valueble resource. i asked him many times about things i couldnt quite figure out on all my rare/euro bits and he always had a answer. his build is something we should aspire to not belittle and poke jest at.Leave a comment:

well I appreciate it japandrew and I will be using that PN.
seriously lay off the guy... he has posted more useful info on the board than 95% of the people here. Not everyone want there car held together with zipties and duct tape and mismatched junkyard parts.Leave a comment:

$1.50/m * 25m = $37.50So for those of you who want to know, there is a part number for OEM electrical tape. The number is: 61 13 6 902 588
Beware though, when I first saw this I thought "oh it's only $1.50 per roll, what a great deal". It's $1.50 per meter, and they only sell it in 25 meter rolls. So I ended up paying $25 for this one roll at a deal, but the roll is 25 meters so it will last a long while.Leave a comment:

I'm pretty sure that is not the problem people have with him on here.this shouldn't be surprising to anyone. Andrew has always gone OEM with everything. No matter how much shit you give him, it isn't going to stop him from trying to build a 333i with as many original parts and accessories as possible.
i say keep at it andrew, and when people give you shit just ignore it. it is easy for people to get jealous around here, especially when their e30 is very similar in appearance to yours, if you know what i mean.Leave a comment:

So ruthless. These threads are what makes R3V worth looking at. Seriously man, your style is better fitting for full on barret jackson restorations, or maybe an E9 or something. But even then I'm sure there is a line to draw when it comes to compulsion.
