thanks, it turned out to be the alternator though. Car is fine, besides a bad driveshaft haha

check out your water pump ... that thing is involved with warm water and its pretty important..

Have you tried cleaning your ICV? maybe a bad AFM?

Probably going to clean my ICV this weekend.

Also noted on my way home from work this week my heaters weren't working as good, i'd say about 50%.

Check leaking fuel or air hoses.

no leaking fuel, hoses are good.

I had the same thing and it turned out the throttle cable needed to be adjusted.

not really sure what's going on now, the car ran perfectly fine all day today.

first try the smoke test (you can also do it with carb cleaner), then take a look at your crank position sensor. I has a similar problem and that turned out to be the culprit.

Idle control valve bad or throttle switch out of adjustment?

If the engine runs when you keep it well above idle, but wants to die if you allow it to idle, an intake leak would be high on the list of suspects. A smoke test of the intake would be the first diagnostic to be done.
