'e' to 'i' swap Q

So right now I have a "almost" perfectly working Eta. Slight problem, but I have a feeling it's all just electronics. How feasable is it to start swapping in good 'i' parts to replace th 'e' parts with the eventual possibility of a 'i' drivetrain going into the car?
