I have a VDO and replaced the gears. Perhaps my two large gears are backwards? Which one is mounted last? 14 or 12 tooth? Either way, I don't think it is the gears. I used compressed air to blow out the cluster...still no luck. Blown motor? Whats else should I check. Gears move relatively freely. I saw relatively because they don't just spin but there is some resistance wih seems normal.
