I have to repair the listings on my vert top. the part that goes over the bows is dry rotted to beat hell (how the rest of the top is good I dont know). What I need is a glue to hold the new canvas to the top, as the original items are fused to the top as well, no stitching there to replicate (or reseal)
Has anyone done this repair before, and if so, what adhesive did you use. I will most likely be using gorilla snot to hold the fabric to the bows, but I need to know what would be best to hold it to the top itself.
