Outside temp was 82 and pure sun today and it was blowing 42 degree air at 45 miles per hour. I turn the vent speed down to 2. I found out that my condenser from ackits was shipped from americancondensers. It was a direct fit, for the most part. I had to bend the fitting just a bit to get the hoses to line up ok. Even with that, I had to put some rubber inbetween the lines so that they would not rub. I also hooked up and "L" bracket and changed the location of the clamp on the hose from the compresser to the condenser. I am happy with the PF condenser. I am not quite sure what the idle temps are yet, I will check that over the weekend, but the around town temps are fine and for a drop in condenser, I am happy.Last edited by clydesdale; 08-12-2011, 01:54 PM.

I should see this in about 2 weeks (7-10 business days for shipping, apparently), so if anyone is watching this thread and waiting for my write up on it, I suggest coming back in 2-3 weeks.

Oh man, 2 weeks ago when I ordered this thing it was a nightmare, she is dumber than a damn goat. i did have to extend the tabs on top 1/2 longer. I drilled out the pop rivets and bent new tabs and redrilled and used stainless screws with locks. Just measure your old one and you will see what I mean. I had to cut my rubber grommets loose from my old condenser and I super-glued them back together on the new condenser. The fan then fit fine, Everything else fine, they got the correct line fittings, etc.
Just be careful of that phone attendant. chucker
