Need a little help guys,
My 1988 Cabrio was parked last fall but has seen little use in 5 years. Moving it in the driveway it split a fuel line near the filter ok no problem fix it later... Well later was last weekend replaced all the fuel hoses under the car and... No start it fired on starting fluid so it was fuel delivery.
Trouble shoot the fuel delivery outlined in the Bentley manual find the fuel pump 15 amp fuse blown replace... no start.
Trouble shoot the relays and connections try to start no start... new fuse intact power to fuel pump no noise from pump...ok maybe seized from sitting this has happened before.
Install new fuel pump today no start.... fires on starting fluid acts like it’s going to run then nothing...Fuse blown as before.
Any ideas?
