I have a 1991 325 sedan. I've been reading and trying to figure out how to rebuild/repair my drivers door lock that is currently inop. I used the following link as a guide on how to do this procedure:
..it all seemed fairly easy until I peeled the sticky plastic film off and my door and noticed there are no access holes like their are in the DIY I was following.
How am I supposed to gain access to the door lock? Is this normal? I also googled pics of e30 door assemblies and I haven't seen one that matches mine.
It seems like my door has no large openings to gain access to removing the door lock like I've seen on other doors.
Does anyone have a similar setup??
