Idle drops when I press the clutch??

Hi, Just had strange issue with my 316i - I drove the car about 20 minutes and it ran fine as it ever been, but as I started to pull over to parking lot I suddenly noticed strange vibration/tingling feel from the clutch pedal, and when I depressed it, RPM dropped below 500.

So I parked my car, let it idle for a bit in neutral and pushed the clutch couple of times. Soon after RPM dropped (even without pushing the clutch) and engine shut off.

I tried once more and again, the engine shut off - this time though, I had no power brake for a couple of seconds until I started the car again.

I didn't start it about 5 minutes - I gave it another go, car seemed fine so I drove it back home. During the traffic, I tried to press the clutch in idle just to see if rpm drops like before - it drops very slightly (less than 100 I assume) and I could feel strange(but very minor) vibration when pressing the clutch about halfway.

Any idea what I should check? I thought throw-out bearing might be the issue but doesn't that usually make loud noise when it goes bad? Let me know if you guys have any suggestion. Thanks.

The clutch itself is unlikely to have anything to do with the observed problems. But intake leaks, a problem with the ICV, or a problem with the TPS could be the cause.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Also check your brake master vacuum booster if you lose power when pressing the brake.
