After reading Bimmerfanatik's thread..
I was finally able to put 2+2 together. I've been trying to locate a similar oil leak to no avail.. but after talking to a local BMW tech buddy about it appearently it is possible for the M20 to leak from the bolt holes located on the block for the passenger side motor mount.
From what I found.. if the bolts are loose and not treated the vibration can eventually cause a crack to form and then worse case scenerio pull a chunk of block out causing a small hole.
The tech I talked to gave me very specific instructions on how to fix this so I will post a "How-To" guide with some pics so some of you can get a better understanding on what I'm talking about.
