As a result of some shoddy bodywork done by one of the previous owners of my car, the driver's door does not line up nicely. It seems to be too close to the fender (door trim is wearing away at the paint on the fender edge) and its low at the rear edge (where it meets the quarter).
Looking at the door hinges i saw that they are welded on to the body, and that the bolt holes on the door side of the hinge do not allow any adjustment.
Is there anyway of fixing this issue without having to re-weld the door hinges?
