there are Friday night meets at freebirds? what time does that go on?

Typical in the evenings, 7-8 it starts and kinda goes on for a few hours. its a younger crowd with a range of cars. Its at the one off SPID near Target and Twin Peaks.

I told my son to just go to his house and knock on the door but make sure he is in his e30 so the guy knows what is going on. every time I have ran into him on base, he is going the opposite direction and I am either in the Toyota or on my bike. when I take my little 4 door e30, I never see him

Buddy of mine here in CC said he was at one of the Freebird Friday night meets, I'm about to go into my work week but I'll start going again and see if i can catch him there. I've also been starting to do my daily jogs at White Cap Beach on the Island, I will take the E30 and see if he spots me!

yes. he is a pilot on base. he lives here in flour bluff while he is here for flight school. my son said he almost ran into a tree looking at his car because my son's is a white two door, also.

I figured he was, plenty of classmates of mine are in flight school as well. Definitely a clean car.

YES! Saw it the other day for the first time. I about lost it, super clean and really good looking. Kid maybe in his 20s driving. Looks well taken care of.

Did a long road trip about 800 miles over 4 days. Car ran great, got about 32 mpg and seriously enjoyed driving it the whole way.


New 'main relay' seems to have solved the problem. The older/original one had a little rattle to it..

Still in my off week, so the car is being used to run around for errands.

Got about 250 miles on it since replacing the main relay in the car. No problems thus far.

UPDATE - -

Had a new main relay that I ordered last time I was going through this, went ahead and put it in. Seems to be the problem. Swap the new one in with the old one maybe 4 times and each time the old only allows for the car to crank.

The old one is metal and has a little rattle to it, I also took a multimeter to it and only got continuity on two of the 5 terminals on the relay.
