ac schnitzer engine 2.5 or 2.7 ???

Hello! A friend just bought a BMW Schnitzer S3. How could we know without disassembling the engine,
if it is a 2.5 or a 2.7 S3 schnitzer?
He has 2 brochures but he didn´t find the difference.
