I had a small metal piece that held the battery (Number 4). I had to bend it and cut the bolt to get the old battery out and the new one in.
The tray is rusty and the remaining part of the bolt is still in the hole, I've been thinking of replacing it.
I'm thinking of fabricating a frame that will hold the battery from the top and bolt it to the new tray. Has anybody adapted a frame battery holder to an E30 ?
