Maybe you can find something that will work at you local hardware store. The one here has all kinds of different plastic caps that would work, assuming you could find the right size.Leave a comment:

Yeah, that was the first thing I tried. But the thing popped out after a couple days. The electrical tape is soft(ish) and doesn't stay in. I actually tried it twice, and just gave up on it.
I was pretty annoyed that the new bearing dont fit the old caps and Meyle doesn't include new correct fitting ones. Oh well.Leave a comment:

Wrap it in electrical tape until it's a snug fit.
Thats what I did tonight and I don't forsee them ever randomly coming off.

But those are the small size caps. The dealer only stocks OEM caps, and thats the small size ones, too. There's about a 1/8" gap all around the cap when sitting in the new bearing.
I've seen engine bay pics where guys leave this opening open, but somebody must have found a source for the right size cap?Leave a comment:
