Start and Die

what would be the reason that a car would start, run for like a min. and die? igniton switch? i just got a car and thats the problem.

Extremely low fuel level, bad fuel pump, or clogged filter can cause that.

so the ignition switch would have nothing to do with this?

anything else that could be the culpret?
