1215 code E30 1987 325is
HELP, I have a 1987 e30 325is, it is throwing a 1215 code wich is afm. But that means it could be anything from my understanding. Car will fire for a minute then die. Then it doesnt want to fire at all after that unless i let it sit for a little while. Im guessing the motor is getting flooded with fuel and fouling the spark plugs. Things i have changed so far. BOTH fuel pumps, fuel filter, fuel regulator, fuel injectors, ignition coil, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distutor cap/rotor, all fuses and ecu, and a AFM, Cleaned the icv and tps, check for vaccum leaks, replaced the intake hose and the hose that goes from throttle body to valve cover. Compression in all cylinders around 150. Fuel pressure test around 45 psi. And checked all connections. No luck so far. Also i cut out the cat and straight piped it to rule out the cat.
