If you're will to use a smaller rotor, I think this kit should work:
Instead of e36 m3 calipers, it uses e46 325/328 calipers+carriers and rotors. So instead of the 312x20mm m3 rear rotor setup, the rotors become 294x19mm but the rear caliper piston size remains 40mm.
The non-M e36 guys run into the same issue with m3 rear brakes not allowing the handbrake to function without swapping out the entire trailing arm/axle assembly, so the e46 rear caliper setup is a popular alternative which lets you keep the e-brake working.

I ordered the adapter to run the M3 rear brakes on the ti RTAs. I still need to figure out a solution for the handbrake. Considering deleting it in favor of a hydraulic setup but I'm not totally familiar with what I'd need to do. Has anyone been able to get their handbrake working with this kit?

Here is an option to run e36 m3 brakes on a 318ti trailing arm. Not sure if it is possible to retain the hand brake though.
They also sell an adapter to mount e36 m3 rear brakes onto e30 trailing arms with a z4 hub. This is likely the route I will be going for my next project.

As far as I know there is no off the shelf bracket to fit E36 M3 brakes to 318ti trailing arms. Lately people have been doing the Z4 hub conversion with E46 brakes. There are a couple members on R3V offering the kit. May be a good alternative to the 318ti stuff.

Looks the OP insist of what he have.
E36M3 rear rotor need to make e-brake spacer to retain e-brake..
Unless, dont care about e-brake

318ti Hub & brake questions / confirmations
Hey yall just needed some basic confirmation on equipment.
The 318ti RTA's will fit for the rear 5 lug swap option. Now my question is will my new RTA bushings i got in the mail for my e30 fit the 318ti RTA's?
Also iv read some people are trying to get together a custom bracket to fit the e36 m3 calipers on the 318ti hub but havent heard any feedback from their threads. Does anyone know if they were successful in this endeavor?
Thanks yall!Tags: None
