THR lollipop impressions

I had them on my old car for maybe 3 weeks, then sold them.
Steering response was great compared to the 20 year old rubbers. :)

BUT I could feel and hear every little pebble I ran over. It was terrible.

They do push them up quite a bit. Even with my stock 14 weaves and stock size tires I am barely an inch away from the front valence. I don't have any experience with the plates, but if they give you caster adjustment you should be able to get them relatively close to stock dimensions.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Looks like I'll be buying a DD in the next month or so, so I'm not as concerned anymore about ride quality. :p

My other concern is how far forward are the wheels pushed with these compared to factory style bushings? I will be buying the GC camber/caster plates soon, will these allow me to put the wheels back in their factory position? I'm about to put 17x9.5s all around, with Eurostop's new flares, along with 255/40s all around, so clearance IS a concern.

increasing steering response was something i wanted as well. So I went 2.7 Rack and Pinion that was. I run solid rubber offset m3 CABs and I like my ride quality.

New rubber m3 bushings work just as well, without the roughness.

What is nvh?

reflectors are killer. But I can live with it. My new wheel is pretty small, this thing feels quite crazy now. Like a little kart.

I am also rubbing on the splash guard/wheel well. I believe it's from the added caster. But I love em. Turned the car around a lot. I just need an alignment to finish it off.

The ride is a lot harsher honestly. Road reflectors are killer, but they are so nice compared to stock bushings. Highly recommended.

Had ploy bushings years ago. With the eyeball arms ride quality isn't any worse then the ploy.

only thing ive noticed actually is that i rub my tire on the splash guard in the front during turns and hard braking, with the wheels straight it is very close but not touching

I also rub the front of my tires on the splash guards when the wheel is turned.

My car came with the THR lollipops installed so i can't comment on any change in ride quality, but the ride is tolerable.

I have driven an e30 with bilsteins and h&r springs with normal m3 offset bushings and then my car to compare right after and I realized how much i loved the feel, I think you will too.

Really? You rub from these? On the front edge or the rear edge?

I went from 20-something year old bushings to these, so the difference was astounding.
