318is brakes onto 318i and a swaybar mount question

So I've had my old 91 318is suspension and brakes sitting in the garage for a few years. Probably less than 10k miles on them before the car was rear ended by the truck and totalled by insurance. I'd like to put everything on the 85 318i I picked up a few months ago.

The rotors have a thin layer of rust from sitting for so long, what's the best way to clean it up a little bit before trying to run it again?

Are there any issues with running the 318is master cylinder without ABS? I think the part numbers matched up, but the cylinder bores are slightly different from the 318i.

Can I run the drum brakes on the the 318is MC for a little bit while I wait for rear subframe parts to arrive? I figure it goes through a pressure regulator and I could just switch to the 318is pressure reg when I put the 318is trailing arms/rear discs on.

Finally, I've had brandy new IE swaybars sitting in the garage since before the first 318is was wrecked. Is this how the front bushings are supposed to go?

If that's how they go, are there an issues with welding in some steel plate to fill in that gap where the bolt is. It would make me happier to not have that gap there.

    Thanks!
